Two yoke frog in the hole

I just got back from a 10 mile run with some friends.  I eaten breakfast before the run.  Hunger was setting in quick.

I reached for my usual oatmeal but saw the fresh loaf of bread on the counter top.  My mind immediately flashed to a treat from my childhood.  A frog in the hole

You simply cut a hole in the bread and toast it with an egg in the center.

Good run and great breakfast – 10 miles, homemade whole wheat bread (10 grain cereal) with two farm fresh eggs – good stuff!

I always heard that called "Eggs in a basket"

I may have already eaten breakfast, but it's my day off so maybe I'll revisit breakfast in an hour or so. haha

Never knew what that was called. Just recognized it as that breakfast from V for Vendetta.

The fine dining establishment of cracker barrel calls these eggs in a basket. Never had it personally but it doesn't sound bad!
